Assistant Bailiff Register

An Assistant Bailiff, similarly to a Bailiff, is an authorised officer of the court established under section 15 of the Magistrates Court (Civil Division) Act 1992 (the Act). The powers of an assistant bailiff are set out in section 16A of the Act, and include being able to serve court applications and orders, and seize and sell real or personal property.
