Using correct pronunciation, titles, and pronouns supports a safe and considerate environment for everyone who engages with the court.
We recognise that a deceased person may also have had specific preferences about their name, title, or pronouns.
Senior next‑of‑kin (SNOKs) or family members are invited to share this information with us so we can refer to the deceased respectfully throughout the coronial process.
