No 2 of 2004 - Claim for Relief under the Residential Tenancy Act 1997

This regulation comes into effect on 9 June 2004. The regulation provides that the filing fee for relief under the Residential Tenancy Act 1997 will now be 30 fee units.

Therefore the filing fee for relief under the Residential Tenancy Act 1997 will comprise 30 fee units pursuant to the Magistrates Court (Civil Division) (Fees) Regulations 1998 and an additional 5 fee units pursuant to the Appeal Cost Fund Regulations 2003.

A fee unit is presently prescribed as $1.11.
