No. 3 of 2006 - Anti-Discrimination Tribunal – Charges for Administrative Services

The Anti-Discrimination Tribunal falls within the definition of the “lower courts” in the Magistrates Court Act 1987. The Tribunal’s administrative support is provided by the Magistrates Court.

Legal practitioners are advised that henceforth the Court will provide the same range of administrative support services as before for the convenience of parties, but now on a cost-recovery basis. Chargeable services will include audio-conferencing, video-conferencing, transcribing, photo-copying, and supplying copies of audio-recordings of proceedings.

Parties should be aware at the time of requesting these services that an administrative charge will be payable where such services have been arranged at their request for the convenience of a party or parties, and not at the behest of the Tribunal.

The Magistrates Court’s policy on audiolink and videolink services is available on the website.
