I, DONALD JOHN JONES, Coroner, having investigated a death of
SIDNEY THOMAS PEARCE
WITH AN INQUEST HELD AT BURNIE Magistrates Court
in Tasmania
FIND THAT :
Sidney Thomas PEARCE died at approximately 1700 hours on the 5th May 2003 at the Huon 1359 level at the Renison Bell Tin Mine, near Zeehan in Tasmania.
Sidney Thomas PEARCE was born in Ouse in Tasmania on the 28th February 1960 and was aged 43 year(s).
Sidney Thomas PEARCE was living in a de Facto relationship and whose occupation at the date of death was a Miner
I find that the deceased died as a result of:
Head injuries sustained in a rock fall.
At the time of the deceased person’s death he was not being treated by a medical practitioner.
