No 8 of 1999 - Section 50B Justices Act 1959
Form 40: Consent to Adjournment

Consistent with the Magistrates Court’s case management system, I advise that all Consent to Adjournment forms (Form 40) lodged pursuant to the Justices Act 1959 s.50B must state the reasons for seeking the adjournment.

The Form 40 will then be considered by the Magistrate who has carriage of the matter. If the consent adjournment is approved by the Magistrate, all parties will be advised by the Magistrate’s Clerk.
